Happy Halloween

My little bumble bee and scurvy pirate had a lot of fun this Halloween. We started off the day with a playgroup party that the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Then we went to Daddy's work to show off their cuteness and have lunch. We finally took a much needed afternoon break for a nap and some down time. The fun started all over again after dinner with trick-or-treating. The weather was awesome and there were tons of kids out.

My Helpers

Connor always loves helping out mixing and this morning Lucas joined in. He always has to do what his big brother is doing. We made pumpkin pancakes which were a big hit all day. He even requested them for dessert after dinner. Luckily there was just enough batter left!

Our new cousin

The boys have a new cousin! We got to see Bridget, who was a week old, last Saturday. She is so sweet and cute. She slept and ate most of the time but I got to sneak in cuddles in between. Here's Grandma D with her.

Boys and cars. Connor's always been more into trains but when he's around Andrew the car enthusiasm is contagious. Lucas is interested in cars so he loved Andrew's collection. (We've had to switch Owen's batteries twice this week! That's a first for us.)

Connor got introduced to a family tradition: Archie. Apparently it's just a code name for football.

Disney

We took a trip to Disney almost a month ago. I've been meaning to post pictures for a few weeks now. We had a blast! The kids did really well even though they had their moments of fussiness. We closed the parks down both nights and stayed almost until closing at Sea World.

We were amazed that they wanted to keep going just as much as we did. Connor's favorite ride was the merry-go-round, of course. We did make it onto other rides and caught the Lion King Show too which was a big hit. We were able to meet up with Ben and his Mom and Dad and G & G Drake which made our trip extra special!
