January Fun

I took advantage of the post Christmas sales and got Connor a battery powered Christmas train. We can pretend it's almost like Grandpa's trains...but not really. Connor loves it though! He even has his buildings set up around the track like Grandpa does. This kid dreams about trains I bet!

The kids also got a very cool Batman and Joker racetrack from their Uncles Dennis and Derek! They love it and it has gotten almost as much use as the trains.

Unfortunately, the weekend of the 10th we all came down with the stomach flu one by one. Lucas started Friday night but he bounced back quickly, then Matt got hit and then poor Connor. I am proud to say I just got a mild case. Poor Connor was the hardest hit and took the longest to recover. See how cute he looks? He's still my little guy no matter how big he acts.

We celebrated January and February birthdays also this month and Connor had so much fun celebrating his birthday early with his Great-Grandparents Beagles, Grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and us. Thank you all for celebrating Connor's birthday with us!

Connor decorated his own cupcake with TONS of candy. Luckily, he picked all of it off and ate the cupcake and frosting. PHEW! That would have been one good sugar rush!
